Well a year has gone by and it’s March madness which means the Brewing Station Squad is back at the Taste of The Beach to defend our 2011 title! Our tri-captains, Chef Pok, Pastry Chef Tina, and booth designer Diana have all returned leaner, stronger and more focused. Look for some serious artistry going on at Booth 15 at Sunday’s Grand Tasting. In the meantime, warm up at the TOB kick-off event at 5 on Thursday. Here the Outer Banks Restaurant Association (the folks who put on the TOB) put up all the events on our walls so last minute shoppers can get tickets to individual events, great deals on restaurant shirts are available and FREE FOOD! Can’t go wrong there! On Friday and Saturday come out for Brew School from 3 to 5 upstairs where Assistant Brewer Adam Ball will hold court on how beer is brewed, guide students through a tasting of our beers, a brewery tour and then class will be sent home with a 1/2 liter of our beer and a logo glass to do their homework – 25$ & there’s still a few spots left. A couple of fun night activities for the weekend – Friday is Latin night with DJ Boa who plays the latest in Central & South American Latin favorites and its all in Spanish for the authentic flavor. Saturday night is the Graham Worely Band who is one of those guitarists who have to been seen to be believed so come out and hear/taste/feel something different!
